Preschool Gymnastics is offered for children who are walking through age 5. During these 45-minute classes children will learn colors, numbers, motor skills, sequencing (taking turns), listening, etc. as well as gymnastics skills such as: forward rolls, backward rolls, beginner cartwheels, etc. They will have the opportunity to experience age-appropriate equipment including: floor, beam, bars, vault, rings, trampoline, tumble track, and the foam pit. This class is taught in a cellphone-free environment.

Bayside's Preschool Gymnastics Program, also known as Bayside Rocketeers, is designed to encourage your children to learn, play, and have fun. We strive to help your children face new challenges while learning basic motor, listening, and sequencing skills.

Walking - Age 3

This is a parent-child class that is designed to prepare your child for kindergarten. This class is taught in a cellphone-free environment where parent participation in this class is a must. At this young age children will respond better to a parent than the coach. The parent is safe for them and this is their first time in a teaching situation. This is a great opportunity to bond with your child in a fun learning environment.

Age 3

At this stage children are learning to separate from the parent and notice all the little details about the world around them. We suggest the parent stay within sight of the child at this age because a reassuring hug may still be necessary.

Ages 4 & 5

This class is only for 4 - 5 year-olds who will be attending kindergarten in the fall. Between four- and five-years-old children recognize that they are separate individuals from their parents and start to develop self-esteem. Our goal is to help give them the self-confidence they need to conquer anything they choose.
